The Tapiola Group has established a committee to evaluate the implementation of mutuality by utlilizing the model for the European Award (EFQM).
The committee works independently and freely. Tapiola will provide it with all necessary information and enable interviews with management and specialists. The committee’s proposals are discussed on the advisory committees’ autumn meetings as well as the board meetings.
The evaluation is a new form of activity among the advisory committees. Each of the three advisory committees per the seven business regions elects one member to the mutuality committee. (Members of the mutuality examining committee 2005–2007)
The mutuality is evaluated at two-year intervals. The period in between the committee discuss an important and current issue. The committee published its first statement in November 2005. The second statement will be published in November 2008.
