In addition to the supervisory boards, Tapiola’s customers are also represented in Tapiola’s activities through the advisory committee system.
Tapiola has 20 regional advisory committees, each of which consisting of 9-15 members, as well as an advisory committee for the SME sector and an advisory committee for agriculture and forestry, each of which having 12 members. These committees act as an additional channel of interaction between the company and its customers.
The regional directors or directors for the customer segments nominate candidates for the advisory committees. The nominations are handled in the executive groups and finally brought to the board of directors, who invites the selected members to the advisory committees. The term of office is three years for all committees.
