Press Release
American A.M. Best Co, which is the oldest and most esteemed assessor of insurers’ financial strength, has assigned a financial strength of rating A (Excellent) to Tapiola General.
– There has never been any doubt about Tapiola General’s financial strength, but the internalization calls for an official rating. The excellent rating assigned to Tapiola General is something we gladly communicate, states Managing Director Juha Seppänen.
The rating is required in both insurance and banking on customers’ or partners’ demand. A good rating also increases the company’s reliability and appreciation, which strengthens the corporate image and reputation.
Tapiola General’s excellent rating is especially a result of the company’s strong solvency and consolidated risk-adjusted capitalisation as well as its excellent business profile in the Finnish market.

– This excellent recognition encourages and obligates us to develop the services and business continuously in order to keep the excellent rating in the future, says Juha Seppänen.
